ACEM S.p.A. is a leading Italian company founded in 1995 specialized in designing, manufacturing and trading of surgical lamps for medical and veterinary use, surgeries and operating rooms.

ACEM S.p.A. has two divisions:

ACEM Medical Company –  specialized in medical lighting systems
ACEM Vet Care – for the veterinary lighting sector

Company

ACEM S.p.A. operates at national and international level through a widespread sales network of dealers constantly in touch with the Sales Department of its premises, granting online support and on-site customer service thanks to its specialized technicians.

The R&D Department composed by a team of engineers and technicians experienced in hardware and software mechanical design, represents the core of these two divisions. The R&D Department is provided with highly technological programmes and a sophisticated laboratory to test each single unit and assure the compliance with the highest quality and security standards.

ACEM S.p.A. controls each detail of its lamps accurately to obtain an optimal result and meet the needs of the end-user.

The quality in the product design is fundamental for ACEM. All our surgical lamps are subjected to lab stress tests to ensure a perfect operation in all conditions of use.

Our success is based on the philosophy of innovative business that combines entrepreneurial energy with strong insights, excellence of project capacities and operative soundness.

All ACEM products, CE certified in compliance with MDR 2017/745, are strictly manufactured in Italy with the best components, assembled and tested by specialized technicians.

ACEM Medical Company produces Made in Italy quality and its Quality System Management is certified by UNI CEI EN ISO 13485:2021 and UNI CEI EN ISO 9001:2015.

We manufacture Made in Italy products.

ACEM Vet Care

ACEM Vet Care (division of ACEM S.p.A) operates in the animal health sector producing state-of-the-art LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps for several applications.

The success of ACEM Vet Care is based on a continuous investment and updating of the R&D activity.

The design quality of the products is fundamental for ACEM. All the lamps are subjected to lab stress tests to guarantee a perfect functioning in all conditions of use.

Its main target is to meet the end-user requirements with high quality and reliable products.

Thanks to its reliability and professionalism the company is well-known both at national and international level.

ACEM Vet Care is actually present all over the Italian territory and abroad provding products and online and on-site after-sales service

ACEM Vet Care produces Made in Italy and CE certified quality and its Quality System Management is certified by  UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.

ACEM S.pA.. Quality System Management is certified in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 13485 Standards and European Legislation on medical devices.

Quality Policy

Quality System Management

ACEM SPA considers the continuous improvement of its processes, as well as of the Quality Management System, one of the strategic tools to achieve its business objectives.

The company aims to remain at the forefront of the market evolution process by constantly updating its offer and keeping its systems at the state-of-the-art by applying the following QMS Standards:

  • ISO 9001:2015
  • ISO 13485:2021
  • 21 CFR 820

and

  • MDR (EU) 2017/745 Medical Devices Regulation

With a strong customer orientation in mind, it has defined and implemented a strategy aimed at identifying the needs and requirements of the market and correctly define and describe the relevant performance of the services offered.

In accordance with these principles, all necessary actions are promoted so that processes and activities are focused toward the following objectives:

  • Adopt a process-driven approach including methods for measuring Quality Management System procedures through the definition of monitoring indicators.
  • Develop innovative products and services with high technological content that meet and anticipate customer expectations in terms of safety in use and performance.
  • Research new technologies that can make the products and services offered more efficient and reliable.
  • Improve the security of information systems and preserve information by ensuring its availability, confidentiality and integrity.

  • Optimise and improve the service offered to customers.

  • Exercise all activities in accordance with the principles and values of business ethics defined in the Code of Ethics, adopted by the company as an integral part of its organizational model.

The objectives listed above represent a general framework to define the system of quality indicators, the relative margins for improvement and the factors for assessing customer satisfaction. In particular, the achievement of these purposes is measured:

  • From trading indeces;
  • Through the analysis of internal and external non-conformities;

The Management is directly responsible for the complete application of the Quality Management System and periodically promotes its review to ascertain its suitability. The Management has delegated the Quality Manager the power to take all most appropriate initiatives for the implementation of this Quality Policy.

Green practices

ACEM S.p.A. is committed to creating a concretely sustainable future.

ACEM S.p.A. believes that the responsibility of everyone in the matter of environmental sustainability is very important. For this reason it has a policy that outlines strategies to manage its responsibilities in this regard.
Aware that the company’s activities determine the consumption of resources and the production of waste, ACEM is actively committed to reducing its environmental footprint in the following areas:

Rational use of resources and elimination of waste through:

  • Proper disposal of special waste
  • Adequate regulation of heating and air conditioning systems
  • Improvement of energy efficiency
  • Waste disposal through separate collection of paper, plastic and pallets (through CONAI Consortium)
  • WEEE management and disposal (through Ecolight Consortium)
  • Reduce paper consumption by optimizing print processes and electronic document management in offices, warehouse and customer relationships.
  • Use of toner for printers whose regeneration is guaranteed by the supplier
  • Printing of documentation and advertising and information material on FSC paper.

In addition, ACEM has adopted more environmentally friendly solutions in the field of

  • Use of recyclable packaging consisting of a percentage of recycled material
  • Invitation to its medical and veterinary customers to dispose of packaging correctly, in compliance with local instructions on waste collection.

As far as Logistics and Transport is concerned, ACEM is committed to adopting sustainable solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the environment::

  • Reduce staff travel by promoting, where possible, the use of virtual communication tools.
  • Transport of products entrusted to commercial partners with ISO 14000 environmental certification or transparent environmental policy

ACEM is committed to operate in an increasingly responsible manner with the aim of improving the sustainability strategies and reducing its impact on the environment.

By 2030 ACEM intends to completely eliminate zero greenhouse gas emissions using car electricity produced by photovoltaic system.
